Up Up and Away

This past weekend I went to The QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning. This is an annual festival that every year gets bigger and bigger with more vendors and performers. It runs Friday through Sunday with unbelievable entertainment every day! This year they had performances by George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Jake Miller, and The Plain White T’s! My best advice is to be sure to bring a backpack because there are over 50 vendors giving out free products, food, and drinks! There are even more vendors selling items to purchase such as beautiful jewelry, clothing, and collectibles.

Many of the balloons that took off into the air were traditional looking with multi colors, however they had a lot of massive cartoon balloons that simply inflate then deflate. You can pay to go up in a balloon and the price differs per balloon. Just being a spectator to this beautiful display was good enough for me. Watching the balloons lift off into the sky was absolutely breathtaking. Events like the balloon festival are one of the reasons why I love the summertime. You get the opportunity to relax with friends and witness something that you don’t see everyday. I feel like you can make the most memorable memories during the summer and I am so happy I could experience something like this with some of my dearest friends.

My overall dress is from Primark and I got it for only $17! Seriously if you’ve been reading my posts on Primark and haven’t gone there yet, what are you waiting for? They make it too easy for me to find and share affordable fashion. Since the festival was located in a field, I felt like this outfit was so perfect. I would also wear this to a country concert or a BBQ. I was worried that it may be uncomfortable to wear and a bit heavy, however that is not the case as it was very light weight and breezy. I decided to pair it with an off the shoulder white crop top that I purchased at Forever 21 for only $6!
